Collections Specialist ? Accounts Receivable
The Collections Specialist is a key player in our national operations?.
- Overseeing the collection process of
- 30 & 60-day accounts,
- problem accounts, and
- high-volume accounts.
The Collections Specialist Works closely with the Credit Manager?. and gives backup support to our Accounts Receivable functions?.
- assisting with cash applications, queue processing
- administering problem account oversight
- maintaining aging reports generation
- continuous documentation of conversations, outcomes, and data.
- gives backup support to other Accounts Receivable functions?.
The Collections Specialist is charged with ?making it happen!? ?. To do everything possible, within our guidelines, to maintain professional level control over the entire collection cycle.
This calls for a unique set of skills and qualifications ? What we Expect.
Important to this position are:
- Proficiency in the world of Accounts Receivables, preferably on a large-scale. The ideal candidate will already have 2+ years of well-rounded A/R experience. Diplomacy and excellent customer service & communication skills ? knowing when to be firm, yet polite; able to soothe impatient people and negotiate bureaucracies and large credit organizations.
- A natural expertise in multi-tasking ?. Resolving problems, juggling phones, faxes, and emails, completing forms, data entry, and filing, and many other simultaneous duties.
- Self-organization, detail-oriented, follow-through, commitment and dependability.
