Commercial Rebate Analyst

Commercial Rebate Analysts are responsible for the financial analysis and overall administration of rebate payments to Managed Care IPA and PBM customers, Wholesalers and Retailers. Responsibilities include calculating and verifying rebate payments as well as providing executive summary level reporting to US Managed Markets Finance (USMMF), internal Managed Care and Warrick Management, the Managed Care, Warrick and Schering Sales field force as well as managed, wholesale and retail care customers.
Analysts interact with the Managed Care, Warrick and Schering Trade Sales field forces, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Customer Adjustments, Customer Service, Information Systems, other individuals within USMMF, and equivalent positions at customer accounts.
Analysts report directly to the Senior Manager USMMF.

Qualifications
Position requires (1.) above average math aptitude (2.) above average written and oral communication skill (3.) strong interpersonal skills as position includes direct interaction with major external customers (4.) excellent computer skills including most Microsoft Office applications and (5.) above average analytical abilities as position requires interpretation of contractual language and rebate structures.
Analyst must have a customer service attitude, work with a sense of urgency and be detail-oriented, organized, and efficient. Individual must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and/or industry is beneficial. One to Two years related or similar work experience a plus.
