Compensation Analyst

Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) is the nation?s largest municipally owned natural gas utility, serving more than half a million residential, commercial & industrial customers in the City.  We are offering an excellent opportunity in our Human Resources Department for a Compensation Analyst

 

The successful candidate will conduct and complete salary surveys, analyze salary data, and evaluate non-union positions within the organization, identify inequities and recommend corrective action compared to survey information and report findings. Conduct FLSA evaluations to ensure positions are in compliance with Federal and State laws. Maintain the corporate FMLA and 457/Pension information within the ADP System. Assist with special projects as assigned. This position requires Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of three to five years of directly related experience including the description and evaluation of exempt and non-exempt positions, Job evaluations and the Hay Rating system. Must have strong analytical and computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (certification preferred) Must be task oriented and able to function in a fast paced environment. Must possess good communication (verbal and writing) skills.
