Compensation & Benefits Accountant

The Compensation & Benefits Accountant is responsible for matters pertaining to the accounting and reporting of payroll costs including but not limited to:
**monthly distribution of salaries and payroll deductions
**utilization of the PayUS system to perform ad hoc analyses of payroll costs
**determine payroll accounting and billing procedures
**reconcile general ledgers for payroll liabilities

Requirements/Qualifications
**BS in Accounting, CPA preferred
**3-4 years experience in the accounting field
**Strong technical accounting skills
**Strong written and oral communication skills
**Ability to get results, work in a team environment and handle highly confidential salary data
**MS Office proficient and ability to learn internal systems quickly
**Highly organized and detail-oriented

This is a temporary assignment located in Dowtown Wilmington. The assignment begins immediately and will last until April 2007. You must be able to pass a drug screen and 7 year criminal background check prior to hire.
