The Consolidations Accountant will assist in the overall preparation of consolidation including consolidated balance sheet, income statement and statements of cash flow. The position is located in Chicago and will report to the Manager of Financial Services for the Consolidations and Reporting Group.

 

 

ResponsibilitiesEnsure all inter-company transactions and relationships are properly eliminatedPreparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAPResponsible for separate entity reporting requirements for various subsidiariesContribute to preparation of monthly internal reporting and analysis package Research consolidated and segment variancesLiaison with external auditors Participate in special projects as neededAssist in the overall preparation of consolidation including consolidated balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows

 

RequirementsTwo to four years of experience in public and/or industry accounting  Experience in a consolidations or financial reporting role is desiredBachelor degree in Accounting; CPA or pursuit of is a strong preferenceStrong analytical, organizational, written and oral communication skillsExperience with Hyperion consolidations a plusStrong PC skills including Excel, Word, and financial accounting systemSomeone who can work well with others and take direction
