We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Construction Accountant to join our Marketing team.

In this position, you will assist the Controller and/or Project Manager in developing, monitoring, and updating the project budgets, schedules and forecasts. Key responsibilities include: providing job cost and CSI coding information on purchase orders and contracts; updating construction budgets to reflect purchase order/contract and commitment changes due to amendments or change orders; reviewing invoices to ensure that actual costs are assigned to the correct job cost code and general ledger code; and preparing, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting on contract/purchase order cost performance to include the status of committed costs against approved budgets.
 
To qualify, you must possess 2-5 years of experience as a Project Bookkeeper in the construction industry as well as knowledge of AIA ? G702 Billing Documents. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel or other spreadsheet software is required. Experience with Starbuilder is helpful, but not necessary.
