Construction Estimator

Our Client, a local construction company seeking their newest team member.  Successful candidate will review upcoming job bids in our area, compile and prepare all necessary documents for submitting a bid, follow through until job is awarded, create and maintain job files (paper and electronic), obtain and log job plans, enter job information into estimating and accounting software, analyze system reports for accuracy, and provide general support for estimators. Responsible for various daily/weekly/monthly reports.

 

Previous construction experience a plus, strong, ?take charge? mentality needed to be successful in this position.  Analytical skills a must and computer skills in Microsoft Office programs a requirement.  This position will work directly with all members of management and potential customers.  We offer an excellent benefits package for the right person to join our team.  Excellence, initiative, sense of urgency and integrity, ownership of position and caring out the company and your co-workers are important traits.
