Construction Staff Accountant

Looking for a solid Sr. Accountant.  Must have experience in construction accounting, job costing, and able to handle different properties and multiple entities. Must posses excellent communication skills.

 

 Minimum 5 years accounting experience.
. Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, Masters or CPA preferred.
. Familiarity with Oracle and Hyperion Essbase is desirable.

Responsibilities include:
. Bank reconciliations, tracking prepaid insurance and recording related amortization.
. Reconcile inter-company balances between parent company and subsidiaries, and accruing professional fees, marketing expenses and dividends payable.
. Prepare quarterly consolidated roll forward fixed asset activity schedules, monthly analysis of construction projects, confirming subsidiary operating results, insuring all corporate balance sheet reconciliations are completed and maintained in a central file and assisting with various census reports.
