CONTRACT ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

Our client is a large?commercial metals company located in Cayce, SC.

?

Job Purpose

The purpose of the Accounts Payable Clerk is to input approved invoices submitted to the accounts payable department by respective division departments.

?

The accounts payable processor follows and enforces billing and payment procedures in a manner that is in the best interest of our client?s standard practices.

?

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: invoice entry, check/invoice matching, and preliminary notices.

?

Ideal candidate will have construction accounts payable experience with computer software based accounting system,

?

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

????????? Reconcile/Input?Invoices for Payment

????????? Coding Invoices to Proper General Ledger Accounts

????????? Prepare journal entries

????????? Deal with Vendors on a Daily Basis Regarding Payment Status

????????? Reconcile and Maintain Accounts

????????? Assist with Month-End Close Duties

????????? Posting cash receipts

????????? Posting Journal Entries

????????? Researching and resolving payable issues with vendors

????????? Excel & Accounting Software Knowledge **knowledged of ROSS preferred!
