Contracts Administrator with Incredible Benefits and Tuition Reimbursement

Responsible for the administration of contract and subcontract agreements through preparation, negotiation, pricing, and modification and closeout, with minimum supervisory direction.
Administer contract and subcontract agreements. Assure compliance with prime contractual agreements.
Assist Contract Administrators in the selection, teaming, non-disclosure, and pricing reviews of subcontractors.
As needed, obtain government authority approval to utilize contractors and subcontractors.
Enter and/or ensure the contract and subcontract agreement?s data is accurately reflected in the Contract?s database(s).
Prepare, process and negotiate contract and subcontract agreement modifications.
Review invoices to assure charges are accurate and in accordance with the agreement.
Responsible for issue resolution of contracts and subcontracts.
Perform closeouts of agreements in a timely manner.
Provide training to internal customers on contract and subcontract processes, required paperwork and documentation.
Assist in the preparation of Small Business Plans.
Assist in special projects, ad hoc analyses and reports on an as needed basis.

 

Experience:

At least 3 years related experience in a multi-contract government contractor environment. Experience in preparing competitive cost proposals. Demonstrated proficiency in spreadsheets and databases

.
Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of FAR and FAR supplements, as well as cost and pricing techniques. Ability to organize workload to meet all schedules, deadlines and commitments while handling multiple assignments concurrently. Ability to maintain performance under pressure and deadlines in an efficient manner. Ability to work extended hours during proposal preparation periods or as required, to complete assignments. Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. Good oral and written communication skills. Strong customer service skills.


Other:

Ability to attain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
