Contracts Analyst

Description:
The Contract Analyst serves as a key resource to the engagement management teams on project-related financial, contractual and administrative matters. The Contract Analyst is responsible for setting up and maintaining contracts and projects in Peoplesoft, monitoring project activity, and generating invoices.

Responsibilities/required experience:
- Create Contract in PeopleSoft
- Determine taxable vs. non-taxable items
- Create contract lines & enter prepaid information
- Create Contract Support Team
- Create accounting distribution for fixed fees
- Create contract specific milestones & associate with billing and revenue plans
- Assign billing plans to contract lines
- Assign revenue recognition plans to contract lines
- Review accounting distribution and sales tax codes
- Contract maintenance
- Amend contracts
- Create a project in PeopleSoft
- Establish general project information
- Select project organization
- Define activities and attributes
- Create and assign rate templates
- Indicate burden plan
- Link project activities to contract lines
- Documentation of decisions that led to contract setup
- Project maintenance
- Assess and coordinate time and expense adjustments
- Standard invoice creation and adjustments
- Monitoring and delivery confirmation of invoices
- Documentation of billing issues
- Reconciliation and resolution of unbilled items

Requirements:
2 years experience in a accounting, finance, or contracts role.
4 year degree or 4 years work experience in a accounting, finance, or contracts role.
2 years experience working across company departments and geographic locations.
2 years experience with MS ofice
