Contracts Coordinator

Under the direction of the Contracts Manager(s), is engaged in the research, preparation, and processing of contracts and related documents for assigned customer accounts. Coordinates and manages contract document files and department clerical needs. Prepares customer communications as directed. Serves as a liaison between Sales Operations and Field Staff on contractual matters.

Must possess basic understanding and knowledge of contract administration and management, and a general understanding of customer segments, product platforms, and pricing alternatives.
Prepares contracts documents and customer communications as directed, consistent with negotiated and approved requirements.
Reviews, monitors, and processes all related correspondence to and from customer account and Field Staff to assure contractual documentation remains current and accurately reflects services and products purchased.
Maintains and prepares statistical reports based on database information, and other departmental materials relative to contracting function.
Supports the positive education of the Field Staff on contract provisions and methodologies.
Supports Contracts Manager(s) in execution of contractual requirements, as directed.
Proposes and supports process improvement initiatives.
Communicates professionally and appropriately with both internal and external customers.
Develops and maintains a mechanism for, and implements, contract renewal deadlines to field sales.
Assists department members with administrative functions, including proposal assembly, filing, ordering supplies.
Backs up the department's primary points of contact for contract questions and issues.
Under direction of Contract Manger(s), develops and administers stand-alone medical food contracts, including pricing worksheets.

Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
Prior exposure or training in contractual documentation, specifically medical foods contracts, is helpful.
General understanding of the operations of a field sales office is preferred.
General understanding of the distribution systems preferred.
High level of proficiency in a variety of PC applications such as Excel, Word, Access, etc. as well as a general understanding of mainframe operations required.
