Provide industry specific knowledge and direction in the development, negotiation, management and administration of contractual negotiations and supplier relationships.  Manage Fidelity Supply Management evaluations to establish and maintain business controls for medium dollar and medium exposure contracts.  Must be able to understand and integrate contracts with the business objectives of the appropriate Business Units and Fidelity.  The Contract Manager will participate in and may occasionally lead the contractual process of analyzing contract issues to identify and eliminate or minimize risks or liabilities and optimize value to Fidelity. Works independently on both standard and non-standard contracts with low to medium levels of complexity and risk, within specific area of expertise

  Strong knowledge of business law as it relates to contracts issues in the assigned area of responsibility

  Proactive management of multiple Supplier relationships and ability to work well under pressure

  Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access at an intermediate level to prepare reports, presentations and  spreadsheets

 

 

  Education and Experience

Bacheor degree or equivalent business experience

Minimum of 4-6 years purchasing related experience, including purchasing contract negotiations and administration experience
