Controller/Finance Manager
DESCRIPTION
New IT Consulting has been engaged by one our highly valued clients to actively recruit an individual for their critical role of Manager - Financial Reporting.
General Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for all financial aspects of the company and will work closely with the CEO. This position is also responsible for accounting analysis, preparation of monthly, quarterly, & annual financial statements for the organization?s international parent company. The role also includes planning and assisting other departments on an as-needed basis in order to accomplish their objectives. The company is looking for a candidate with high personal integrity. The ability to work independently and with flexibility is a must.
Responsibilities:
* Preparation and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Analysis of financial activities and recommendations of financial strategies.
* Responsible for banking functions, signing checks, reviewing/ approving expense accounts
* General systems infrastructure, upkeep: software and hardware needed for accounting purposes.
* Train and manage workload of administrative staff.
* Handle confidential HR and Financial matters.
* Communicate and interact with employees on a daily basis
Requirements:
* Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting / Finance
* 5-10 years total work experience
* Hands on experience with payroll functions, AP/AR, cash management, and fixed assets.
* Prior experience with preparation / analysis of Financial statements.
* Excellent written communications skills
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Good working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
* Good working knowledge of Excel and other commonly used desktop software (Company uses Viaduct - database) * Prior experience with supervision of employees Photo-Me offers you excellent benefits like 401 K, Health insurance etc.
