Controller - Non-Profit Experience a must!

Looking for a Controller for a national non-profit organization with headquarters here in beautiful San Francisco.  If you have a passion and desire to continue to grow your career in this industry, then this is the position for you!

 

Responsibilities include:

 Supervising the Accounting staff Exercising control over accounting procedures and policies to ensure compliance Supervising the preparation of periodic financial statements Provides analytical information and services to management Develops, maintains, and ensures adherence to internal control systems Directs movement of organizational funds between bank accounts ensuring adequate funds Properly manages and delegates employee expenditure authority

 

Candidates must have non-profit accounting experience with a solid understanding of grant accounting.  Some real estate accounting preferred.  Candidates must be able to manage a team very well and will know how to develop and challenge the staff.  Bachelor's degree in accounting of business required.
