Controller-Potential Public Offering

Fast growing and entrepreneurial mid-sized  ENTERTAINMENT company based in Manhattan seeks a financial controller. This firm is planning a major public transaction within the next 6 months that will change the landscape of the organization.

 

The successful candidate will be a CPA with 10+ years of large public accounting and progressive mid-sized private experience with extensive SEC reporting and technical skills. Previous IPO or SEC filing experience a must.  In addition the right candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ownership mentaility that has an interest in building  a department. In addition one must posses strong process control experience and be able to add best practices along with having a strong systems acumen.

Previous operational Entertainment or Consumer Goods experience helpful.

In addition, doing business globally also a +.  This individual will be involved in building the financial organization including all staffing along with participation in all strategic decisions in conjunction with the CFO.
