Controller - Shared Services

Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies Sector is seeking an experienced Controller - Shared Services for our Bridgeton, MO location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the following groups - branch shared services, plant shared services, corporate consolidations, branch and plant payables and tax. See below for more information.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsible for overseeing the monthly close process in the shared service group - making sure deadlines are met, resolving issues as they come up, completing analysis and reporting on the submitted results to Director of Finance for Ret. Sol. Amer., and providing management reporting for CC Americas. In addition, responsible for making sure reconciliations are completed timely and accurately in the shared services department (reviews completed at least once a year of each departments recs).
* Responsible for the Sarbanes Oxley process in the shared services organization, ensuring that all required testing is completed in the time required and following up on the action items required to resolve deficiencies. This includes making sure Levels of Authority are in compliance.
* Responsible for working with each of my direct reports to understand and keep up to date on the activities in each of the shared service groups - accounting, billing, cash applications, payables, taxes, etc.
* Responsible for overseeing Retail Solutions Americas corporate expenses - review of actual, plan and forecast, providing management with feedback on a monthly basis.
* Responsible for being a liason to our locations for the shared services organization - providing information/communication updates throughout the year, as well as providing training as needed (ACS, billing, budgets, LOA, etc.)
* Responsible for the supervision of direct reports and providing assistance to supervising indirect repors as needed. In addition, responsible for development of employees, which includes reviews twice a year, as well as developing/monitoring development plans for the direct reports.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree required.

10 + years related experience.

5 + years experience with g/l and consolidation systems, excel, powerpoint, word, etc.

Experience with Sarbanes Oxley, project management and supervision of several employees.

Minimal travel required.
