Controller / VP Finance w/ Retail Background

Job Requirements:

 

As the VP of Finance / Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on management of AR, AP, Payroll, and GL functions, upgrading and revamping accounting systems, ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal policies and regulations, and implementing appropriate internal controls, personally handling monthly financial reporting, supervision of 3-6 accounting department staff, prepare budgets/budget reports, oversee bank reconciliations and assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financial and SEC reports.

 

BS in Accounting or related field required

CPA or similar experience required

5+ years accounting software experience

2+ years supervisory experience 

Must be capable of handling an expanding organization

Must be hands on, organized, flexible, and detail oriented

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent Excel, Word, & Outlook skills
