Controls Analyst

Our client in the Detroit area is seeking a Controls Analyst. This position:

Supports SOX 404 program including:Assist in evaluation of control weaknessesConduct reviews for Company-wide control activitiesCoordination with external / internal audit and company locationsPrepare status reports for operating management and audit committeePerform quarter end reviews to identify and validate significant and/or non-routine adjustments to financial resultsPrepare review materials in support of Corporate Internal Control Steering CommitteeAssist with internal control reviews related to new IT systems for operations on a global basisAssist with various compliance efforts and control related reviews as required.

Qualifications include:5+ years experience in a related functionBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldSOX 404 and/or internal control related experience
