Duties:

* Serve as key leader over the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements. Complete financial statement analytic reviews and ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies and standards.
* Enhance consolidated reporting systems and processes to optimize efficiency and improve analysis capabilities. Produce metrics that promote improved reporting processes across the organization. Work with financial systems personnel to enhance or implement new finance information systems, as necessary.
* Develop and implement accounting standards, procedures and practices and provide technical accounting expertise to ensure economic-based and GAAP-compliant internal and external financial reporting.
* Perform technical accounting research, as needed, and communicate findings. Prepare memorandums that document technical accounting for significant transactions. Monitor and assess impact of new (e.g. SEC, FASB and PCAOB) reporting requirements and accounting pronouncements.
* Consult with regional accounting and business finance leaders on an as needed basis in order to ensure proper US GAAP and external reporting, including accounting and reporting related to acquisition and disposition transactions.
* Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits with independent auditors. Prepare and present to external auditors accounting position papers to define the accounting treatment for new or non-routine activities as well as new GAAP and external reporting requirements.

Skills and Experience:

* Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting
* CPA designation preferred, but not required
* Strong US GAAP knowledge
* 7+ years experience preparing, analyzing, and reporting consolidated financials.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to all levels of management
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
* Highly motivated individual with demonstrated capabilities to be elevated to a global Director?s role in 2-4 years
