Corporate Controller -- Northern VA

Our client  in RestonVirginia ((Fairfax County) seeks a Corporate Controller that will be a business partner in providing financial direction to the Senior Management Team and a participant in the day-to-day financial decision making. Will be responsible for financial reporting in accordance with the GAAP, SEC and SOX pronouncements, rules and regulations.  The Corporate Controller will also be providing financial leadership and guidance to the financial teams located both in the USA and in foreign countries and will coordinate and prepare technical memorandums on all accounting and finance issues. Will manage the day-to-day operations of accounts payable, inter-company activity, general ledger, financial statement preparation, payroll, cash management and related internal controls. Must be technically adept in all areas of accounting and financial management, including consolidations, management reporting, taxation, financial analysis, and compliance with SEC, SOX, GAAP regulations,  International accounting and foreign currency exposure.
