Job Description

 

The Supplier Services Team which is a sub-team within the Requisition to Pay Group.  Key role is to manage incoming requests for accurate and fast turn around of supplier set ups, general maintenance, purchasing and payment and add/update purchasing information.  Other duties may be assigned.

 Set up suppliers for purchasing and payment in SAP. Process a high volume of supplier updated quickly and efficiently. Handle large volume of Seibel requests on a daily basis. Contact suppliers and requesters in order to obtain supplier profile forms. Special projects assignments as needed. Professional phone etiquette to reach out to suppliers for additional information. Complete other tasks as assigned by Supervisor Continuously learn and improve service skills; be receptive and responsive to performance feedback; remain current on operational processes, methods and procedures; educate the customer when appropriate. Identify and proactively relay potential service issues to Management; suggest necessary process improvements to enhance and improve operational workflow and performance. Contribute to growth and development of other team members through knowledge sharing and collaborative work efforts Support and sustain a positive work environment that promotes team performance through personal contribution

 

Qualifications

 

Must-Have Skills/Qualifications:

 2+ years prior Accounts Payable Experience Work a set schedule M-F 8-5

Other: 

 SAP experience Seibel experience Self starter and highly motivated Organized Preferably one year of experience in a call center or other customer service related environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, preferably in an Accounts Payable or related Finance competency Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and demonstrated follow-up skills with ability to multi-task Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access) is helpful, and other applications Thorough knowledge of industry standard for Supplier Services Accurate data entry skills An individual who is able to operate within a team environment Proven track record of producing high quality deliverables in a timely manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a highly structured environment Ability to work OT as needed
