Corporate Financial Analyst

My client is a family owned business, in operation for over 50 years and ranked #1 in their industry in California. They have grown to over 10,000 employees, but maintain family feel, as they consider their employees their most important asset. They currently seek a corporate financial analyst to provide accounting, reporting and analytical data to senior management in support of short and long term decision-making activities. This individual will ensure all general ledger accounting for the corporation is done in accordance with US GAAP; perform and present variance analysis on company financial statements; coordinate the review of AAWs (balance sheet account reviews) and present findings and observations to management. If selected, you will supervise a staff of 2 and work directly with the financial reporting manager and the director of corporate accounting.

 

For consideration, you must possess a Bachelors degree in accounting or related and 3-5 years experience in accounting / finance preferably in the manufacturing or consumer foods industry. Must possess SAP or comparable knowledge and excellent analytical and communications skills.
