Corporate Tax Manager, Larger Multinational

Corporate Tax Manager Southern CT Salary to $115K + Bonus + Strong Benefits


Our client is a larger diversified manufacturing multinational who are now searching for an experience tax professional within their international tax area.

Responsibilities Include:

Team leadership role related to international tax issues including research and development for complicated tax related issues and adhering to Sarbanes Oxley
Extensive liaison with the IRS related and documenting findings for the company
Assist with preparation of the group income tax return
Liaise with department managers including HR, finance and legal on a global basis
Present and negotiate findings related to tax positions on audit requests for the IRS representing the corporation resolving favorable international tax related resolutions.

Candidate Should Possess:

Probably 7 years + international tax exposure either within a public accounting firm and/or corporation
Strong presentation and diplomacy skills
Ability to adapt and excel in a time sensitive and professional matter
Occasional travel will be required
Proven tax related research skills
Ability to handle multiple projects related to tax research findings
Advanced degree and/or certifications helpful (MBA, MST, CPA, JD)
Strong computer skills.
