Our client, a 30-year-old leader in the travel industry has enlisted Spherion Professional Services to conduct a search for a Corporate and Real Estate Accountant. Over the past 30 years, this company has sent more than 2.2 million travelers around the world. This company is in a great location! This is a fantastic and fun company who is looking for the right fit!

Summary Job Description:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Review invoices, process and pay (approx. 60 checks/week)

- Ensure paperwork and appropriate levels of authorization are obtained before processing

- Research vendor inquiries

- Post all wire activity

- File accounts payable and wire vouchers

- Review BE Stables and Direct Resources and other receivables and bill monthly

- Invoice tenants according to leases and for sundry items

- Cash receipts and receivables

- Other cash management tasks

- Involvement with insurance issues

Assist Tax Department with the following -

- 1099 preparation

- Sales and Use Returns

- Annual Report Filing

Experience: Entry level ? 2yrs accounting or payables.
