LARGE REGIONAL MANUFACTUING Client has an Immediate need for a cost accountant.

Perform all cost accounting activities, including month-end close, journal entries, inventory/cycle count and G/L reconciliations, maintain cost standards for materials and labor, and prepare cost of goods sold, production and other management reports.

Will also perform cost/variance analyses; and assist in the preparation of audit schedules as needed. This individual will interact with all levels of the Company to obtain information relating to the above activities.

Exposure to developing overall product cost working with sales, engineering and operations is important as well as a solid background in budget management.

Requirements:

Previous or Current Manufacturing Experience a plus! Must have a BS in Accounting or Finance. Strong PC skills in Word and Excel.

Exposure to an ERP system with a preference to SAP but we are willing train
