Cost Accountant NEEDED ASAP - Up to $19-25/hr.!!

Cost Accountant for manufacturer located in Santa Ana, CA.

**Paying up to $19.00-25.00/hr. depending on experience**

Type of Position: Temporary to Hire - Company offers benefit plan upon hire.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30AM-4:30PM.

Responsibilities:Analyze audits of costs and prepares reports. Makes estimates of new and proposed product or services costs. Recommends cost efficiencies in new product layouts. Involved in inventory dispositions, inventory reserves, and physical inventories. Appraises and evaluates real property or equipment for sale, acquisition, or tax purposes.Establishes and maintains Standard Costs to support the inventory value. Analyzes and approves the Production Variance Reports Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs. Calculates standard labor/burden rates. Prepares monthly cost journal entries and prepares month-end schedules. Reconciles inventory on a monthly basis. Analyzes per-production cost estimates for marketing price decision. Reviews and analyzes all inventory transactions to ensure proper posting to inventory. Assists in calculating the plant?s operating plan.

Requirements:Min 3 years as Cost Accountant, preferably within a manufacturing environmentMUST have advanced skills in using Microsoft Excel, including linking spreadsheets, pivot table analysis & report generating.MUST understand Work Breakdown Structure cost analysis.
