Staff/Cost Accountant (req # 3382):

 

EFI is looking for an experienced Staff/Cost Accountant with 4-6 years of experience in general ledger close, transaction analysis, and account reconciliations.  In addition to general accounting duties, this individual will be responsible for understanding and calculating royalties due based on shipments.  Also, this individual will also be responsible for cost accounting duties including the set-up and maintenance of standard costs in several manufacturing plants in SAP system on a worldwide basis; executing costing runs for multiple plant locations; production order settlements and variance review at month-end for 4 manufacturing plants; research and explain Cost of Goods Sold variances;

 

Requirements/Qualifications:Ability to work with large amounts of dataStrong Excel skills Knowledge of Microsoft Access software a plusStrong communication skillsSAP or similar system experience a plusExcellent interpersonal and communications skills to interact across all functions within the company nationally and internationally Strong business acumen, excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, have great initiative, and a strong desire to succeedAbility to work in a team environment

 

Education and Experience:

? BS degree in Accounting or Business, or equivalent required

? 4-6 years accounting experience

? 1-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing or cost accounting environment, preferred but not required
