For over three decades, Behr America, Inc. has been a pioneer and pacesetter in the global automotive OEM marketplace.  Whether it is a compact car, luxury car, or commercial truck, chances are you will find our air conditioning or engine cooling systems under the hood.  At our Behr Heat Transfer Systems, Inc. facility located in Charleston, South Carolina, we are currently seeking a Cost Analyst to join our team.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned:Represent Controlling in all product cost related tasks and processes.Support planning and budgeting processes with an emphasis on material cost.Support inter-company transfer price calculations and analysis. Support month end processing and results analysis with an emphasis on material cost and inventory adjustments. Handle special assignments on an as needed basis at the direction of supervisor.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Four year degree; Accounting or Finance preferred.Minimum of three (3) years in a manufacturing environment; automotive or truck preferred.Proven understanding of standard cost systems in a manufacturing environment. Experience with MRP systems and tracking of material costs.
