Cost Analyst - Manufacturing

We seek a financial cost analyst experienced with all cost functions within a large manufacturing facility.

 

Essential Functions Include:

Responsible for the following monthly key general ledger reconciliation?s -- inter-company balances, raw materials, work in process, and finished goods, fixed assets, and accounts payable.

Assist in the monthly closings.

Review day to day activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Oversee accuracy and timeliness of all Accounts Payable operations and inventory transactions.

Perform general ledger account analysis for Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss.

Serve as the backup to the Controller when required.

Provide support to internal and external audits.

Maintain and review the Chart of Accounts.

Requirements:

BA or BS in Accounting. Preferred a CPA or Masters in Accounting - Good understanding of GAAP and knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley required.

Minimum five years experience in audit or accounting required.

Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software packages.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent organization skills; must be detail oriented.

Flexibility and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Must be able to work independently.
