Functional manager over corporate budget, forecast and planning functions for all of WellPoint. Reports to WellPoint's Corporate Staff VP, Budget, Forecasting and Planning.

 Provides enterprise wide support for the budget and forecast processes, and cost allocation processes. Develops budget and forecast policies and procedures, as well as coordinates items related to strategic planning. Maintains regular communication with SBU/CEE CFO's and finance staff to distribute and discuss budget, forecast and cost allocation processes, expectations and deliverables. Helps facilitate/coordinate quarterly ELT reviews of forecasts/annual plan. Designs ELT reporting packages. Helps determine guidance to be provided to investment community by CEO and CFO. Responsible for creation and preparation of Board of Director presentations for Annual Plan, Forecasts, etc. Performs other duties as assigned

BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA, CPA, CMA, FSA, ASA and/or CFA preferred. 8+ years of experience with cost allocations, budgeting, forecasting, general accounting, financial reporting and analysis. Strong functional management skills in addition to excellent planning and analytical skills required. Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to influence others is required. Insurance accounting expertise, particularly with a large health insurance company preferred. Exposure to complex business environments, including multiple entity and highly automated situations preferred.
