Credist Risk Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provides support of research projects including project design, data collection, database design, analysis and presentation of results
- Assists with developing, monitoring, and testing behavior and other collection-related scorecards and risk management tools
- Creates and maintains accurate monthly/yearly reporting of portfolio performance variances and trends with analysis for recommended adjustments to controls and models
- Utilizes company databases to analyze loan and customer credit risk performance
- Responds to ad hoc credit risk issues at all levels of the organization
- Works closely with business partners and IT to develop detailed business development for new initiatives
- Presents and communicates results of findings in a manner consistent with target audience (technical and/or financial)
- May lead entry or intermediate level credit risk analysts when applicable

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor?s degree 
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a Credit Risk Analyst (financial services company preferred)
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of consumer lending, collections and credit risk
- Expert statistical and quantitative skills
- Ability to complete simultaneous projects and meet established deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership, problem solving and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent planning, organizational and prioritization skills
