Credit/Accounts Receivable

Cleveland area manufacturer seeking Credit/Accounts Receivable professional.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

 

Bachelors degree in Accounting

At least 3 years experience managing and collecting receivables.

Detail oriented with strong administrative skills.

Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service attitude.

Self-starter with initiative and ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently and effectively.

Good organizational skills.

Proficiency in utilizing computer software, including word processing and analytical  spreadsheets.

 

Duties to include:

 

Calling on past due accounts and maintaining a follow up process for ensuring the timely collection of receivables.  In the case of large orders, calling before due date to ensure all pertinent documents are in order

Processing of credit applications and the assignment of credit limits.

Posting of all customer payments and invoices on a daily basis.

Sending out customer statements on a monthly basis

Monitoring month end invoicing and order processing to ensure timely billing of shipped orders.

Completing other month end closing procedures as assigned

Reconciliation of various General Ledger accounts on a monthly basis.

Other duties as specifically assigned.
