Credit/Collection Manager

The company is comprised of 11 companies each operating as strategic business units.  One of these companies, Sea Gull Lighting Products, LLC is seeking a Professional Credit Manager to join its team at corporate headquarters in Riverside, New Jersey.

 

Sea Gull Lighting is a leading manufacturer and marketer of decorative and functional lighting fixtures and ceiling fans. In its 87 year history, Sea Gull Lighting has provided a broad range of product designs to a multi national network of electrical distributors, lighting showrooms and specialty wholesale distributors.

 

This exciting and challenging position will report to the Executive VP and VP of Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

 

* Perform functions to manage credit/collections operations

* Oversee the processing of A/R, credit memos and corrective billings

 * Communicate with customers to resolve problems and delinquent accounts

* Approve/deny customer credit requests as well as establish credit limits

* Training and coaching of staff

 

This position requires a bachelor's plus min 5-7 years of management experience. Candidates from manufacturing or builder trade industries desired.
