Credit/Collections Analyst

George Weston Bakeries, a manufacturer of such premium products such as Stroehmann, Freihofer, Thomas?, Arnold and Entenmann?s, is seeking an experienced Credit/Collections professional with strong communication and analytical skills to join the Credit/Collections Department at its Corporate Headquarters in Horsham, PA. 

 

Principal Accountabilities:Handles a customer portfolio of major customers and be responsible for invoice re-billing and collection of retail delinquent accounts. Reviews Accounts Receivable aging in conjunction with established credit policy, credit limits, DSO, and all company targets. Investigates and resolves all deduction activity of our retail accounts. 
Responsible for the collection of all unauthorized customer deductions. Prepares customer account tracking and trend analysis, investigates problems, and contact customers to enhance or correct payment issues.  Works with Cash Applications, Billing, Settlement, and Sales Departments to resolve issues.  Visits customers to enhance customer service and relationships. Assists with other projects as requested by management.

 

Education/Experience:

?  Bachelor?s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred.

?  A minimum of five years of Credit/Collections experience in a direct store delivery, consumer products or retail environment. 

?  Knowledge of accounting/finance, with understanding of Billing, Settlement, Maintenance, and Accounts Receivable.

?  Excellent customer service, communication, and analytical skills.

?  Knowledge of Microsoft Office and A/R systems is essential.

?  Must be a team player and willing to work in a fast-paced high volume environment.
