Our Customs and International Trade Group, a national tax practice, advises U.S. and foreign multinational companies in the U.S. on international customs and trade strategies and compliance.? We specialize in designing and implementing duty-saving strategies on a global basis. The practice is composed of attorneys, accountants, customs brokers, auditors, and tax professionals who help importers and exporters achieve worldwide compliance and resolve controversies with customs authorities in all major trading countries.? The practice serves all major industry segments, including electronics, automotive, textiles, chemicals, heavy machinery and consumer business.
We are currently looking for an Experienced Staff to join our Customs and International Trade Group.? Requirements include:
??1-3 years relevant international trade and customs experience
??Familiarity with Customs regulations and research
skills
??Working knowledge of U.S. Customs valuation, classification and special trade programs
??Strong research, writing, communication and project management skills
??Undergraduate degree required; advance degree preferred
??Foreign language skills preferred
??US Customs Broker License preferred
??Travel approximately 20%
