Derivatives Trader AnalystTo 105 Major Financial Services Corp. located in New York City is currently seeking an individual for their Fixed-Income derivatives area. Responsibilities consist of the following: Price/trade term and structured advances.Monitor, recommend, and execute the efficient option exercise on existing advances with embedded derivatives.  Monitor markets for trade opportunities and develop value‑added funding strategies for member banks.  Determine and provide prepayment/unwind fee calculations for advance and derivative transactions.  Assist in the development of new advance products.  Back up derivative funding trader and perform term debt issuance as required in his absence.

 

Responsibilities consist of the following:

 Issuing profit and loss reports for interest rate derivative desk on a daily basis. Reconciling P&L to the general ledger on a daily and monthly basis, providing month‑end entries as needed. Analyzing balance sheet for interest rate derivatives providing explanations for any changes. Performing balance sheet usage analysis and reserves calculations. Skills /Qualifications consist of the following:

 Good IR derivative product knowledge, including swaps, swaptions, caps, floors, fras, and structured notes.
