The Developer will report to a Senior Project Manager in the Market Room Data Applications group. Design and Develop applications using J2EE technologies and tools.Create database routines and design database schema. Work closely with market room business users and management in developing, deploying and supporting new business needs.Participate actively in design, implementation, testing and application deployment. Understand current business processes and workflow, and find ways to automate and improve them.Production support of business applications, component development, testing, debugging, integrating components, and diagnostics of existing technologies.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering; Masters in Computer Science preferred.Proficient in EJB's, Web Logic, Java, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, CORBA, UML, Rational Rose, CVS, ASP, COM/DCOM, Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server, MS Windows NT, Crystal Reports, JBuilder, Unix, Visual J++, B2B applications, C, C++.3+ Years of software development experience.Sound knowledge of critical technologies including Java/C++, and Unix and Perl scripting, XML, XSL; Application Server Technologies such as WebLogic; Relational Databases such as Sybase and Oracle; J2EE standard technologies such as JSP, JDBC database connectivity, Java Servlets, EJB, and JMS messaging; and platforms such as Unix/Windows NT. Experience with Struts, Velocity, Ant is preferable.Strong object modeling skills required.Mortgage analytics knowledge is a plus.
