Job Title: Development Accounting Manager

Location: Chicago, IL

Reports to: Director of Accounting / CFO

Our client, based in downtown Chicago is a diversified real estate development and investment company, committed to providing excellence. They seek an experienced Development Accounting Manager. In this newly created position, the incumbent will have full accounting responsibilities for multiple properties including new construction and redevelopment of residential and commercial real estate properties.

The successful candidate must have demonstrated success in construction accounting, monthly financial statements and appropriate financial analysis. He/she will be responsible for coordinating and processing monthly project draw requests as well as manage the coordination of monthly draw funding and payouts with lenders and title companies

We require a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 5 years relevant accounting experience in construction and real estate as well as expertise with Timberline system.

Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package is available.
