Director - Cubpliance

This is a furbulous op-bear-tunity to lead our SEC/external reporting, internal audit, and tax cubpliance functions. Secondary responsibilities will include accounting research, implementation of new accounting and SEC guidelines, ad hoc reporting and other special projects.

Specifically, key responsibilities will include preparation/review of the 10Q and 10K reports for the company and ensure compliance with all applicable provisions of GAAP and SEC rules/regulations, overseeing the tax compliance department and liaise with external consultants regarding tax planning strategies and implementation, and providing oversight and direction to the outsourced internal audit function to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and all other applicable standards (NYSE, etc.).

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, will be a CPA, and will have at least five years experience with a publicly listed company or a public accounting firm. A working knowledge of SOX regulations, preferably sections 302 and 304, is also required.
