Director, Financial Accounting & Reporting

Position Overview:

 Accounting and Reporting

? Oversee general ledger, monthly close process, and financial reporting

? Ensure proper recognition of the Company?s revenues and expenses

? Regularly analyze monthly revenues and expenses

? Work with management and Corporate Finance to review variances to plan and prior year

? Review account reconciliations on a monthly basis GAAP, FASB and Internal Controls

? Provide technical research on accounting issues and new accounting standards

? Document accounting policies

? Implement key internal controls and monitor the control environment

 Audit

? Oversee annual audit process

? Work with management and audit firm to ensure consistent, appropriate accounting practices

 

Qualifications:

? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance

? CPA; at least five years of recent public accounting experience

? Demonstrated technical proficiency and experience in applying GAAP accounting

? Knowledge of acquisition accounting and exposure to post-acquisition integration issues

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

? Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

? Familiarity with internal control procedures and process management

? MS Office proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, Access

? Exposure to Oracle environment a plus
