Director Tax

Our client, a Multi-billion dollar Fortune 400 company, is looking for an experienced Director of Tax with a solid technical background in corporate tax.

 

Reporting directly to the VP of Tax, the Director of Tax is responsible for management and supervision of staff, coordination of all tax planning, compliance, and strategic planning.



 

Our client is a innovative leader in their industry and is seeking a strong director to work out of their corporate offices located in Los Angeles. They are looking for a very bright, dynamic individual with a great personality to add to their team.

 

The ideal candidate will have industry and Big4 experience as well as:



Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related industry



CPA and/or Masters of Taxation strongly preferred Minimum seven (7) years progressive public accounting or corporate tax department. Combination private/public preferred.







Advanced technical skills in federal, state, and local tax compliance and understanding of international areas such as transfer pricing.

Team leader and ability to foster a team work type environment



Working knowledge of online tax research, Excel, word processing and corporate tax return preparation software.
