Director of Corporate Accounting

Our client an international, publicly traded bio-tech company has a newly created opportunity for a

 

Director of Corporate Accounting

 

This position will report to the Corporate Controller and responsibilities will include:

 

  Monthly General Ledger Close  Consolidated Balance Sheet and P&LAnalyze company wide P&L on a monthly basisPrepare and/or review supporting schedules for the balance sheetAssist in preparation of SEC filingsAct as a liaison with outside auditorsPrepare and support cash flow statementMonthly sales report to upper managementReview monthly workpapers Assist and maintain SOX compliance

 

 

Ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of accounting experience, preferably but not necessarily a Public/Private mix, strong knowledge of GAAP, understanding of SEC requirements and experience with budgeting and forecasting.
