Responsibilities:


~ SEC and financial institution regulatory filings

~ Highly visible role will have 3 direct reports that manage

~ Frequent interaction with internal audit, external auditors, and senior leaders
~ Preparation of quarterly and annual filings with the SEC (Form 10-Q and 10-K)

~ Must feel confident in presentation preparation for the Company's Audit & Risk Committee, and significant interaction with Legal, Corporate Communications, Internal Audit, Human Resources, Financial Accounting, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance departments

Qualifications:

~ Bachelor?s degree, MBA preferred, CPA a definite plus

~ Must possess several years (10+) of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting, including 8 years in a management capacity

~ Big 4 public accounting Sr. Manager /Principal or a prior Director of Financial Reporting at an SEC registered financial institution, preferably a retail bank.
~ Excellent verbal communication and written communication skills

~ Experience with quantitative and qualitative financial disclosures for an SEC registrant.
