Our client, one of the the U.S. government?s leading providers of innovative technologies and solutions for mission-critical national security programs seeks a Director of Financial Reporting. This person will also be acting as a Management Director.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Director of financial reporting and planning. Support SEC filings (10Q and 10K) and reports. Preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP. Research, analysis, and application of new accounting pronouncements as they relate to our client's reporting requirements.Working With Data.
Qualifications
Detailed understanding of US GAAP. Five plus years SEC reporting and/or Public audit experience. BS in Accounting and CPA required. Experience in preparing SEC filings(10Q and 10K) including preparing MD&A and footnote disclosures.

Degrees
Bachelor's Degree of Science (BS)Accounting
Master's Preferred
Required:ten years overall experience.
Major Job Function
Prepares, analysis, and reviews financial statements for compliance with US GAAP. Prepares/supports SEC filings (10Q/10K). Review and apply new accounting pronouncements as required.
