Director of Financial Services & Controller

This role reports into the Chief Administrative Officer and is the company's most senior finance role.  This position has managerial responsibility for the Controller's Department including planning, analyzing, organizing and directing the accounting and financial reporting of the Credit Union.  It is also responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to accomplish the short and long-term goals of the Credit Union. 

 

This role will serve as a member of the Chief Administrative Officer's senior management team and will develop overall policies, programs, objectives and goals for the Credit Union.  It is reponsible for all accounting and control procedures and activities, and will formulate internal accounting controls and ensure adherence.  It will interview, train, schedule and assign work to review job performance of and make final recommendations with regard to hiring, salary, discipline and discharge of all Financial Services and Controller Department personnel. 

 

Qualitied candidates must have a minimum of five years financial management experience within a credit union of at least $500 million in assets; must possess ALM, mortgage banking and profit tracking experience.
