Director of International Accounting

Bay State Select, LLC is currently recruiting for a Director of International Accounting to join an industry leading digital server systems and software enterprise in the Metro West area.  This position would be responsible for the accounting, internal controls and statutory requirements for the 
Company's European operations. 
Qualified applicants will have:

? Bachelors Degree in Accounting.

?  Certified Public Accountant required.

?  7 years progressive experience.

?  International experience.

?  Complex accounting and tax experience required.

?  Fluent in foreign language - Asian preferred.

?  Ability to travel - Valid passport and driver's license

?  Oracle experience preferred.
Primary responsibilities will be broken down into three major areas:
1. Accounting -
  * Prepare the monthly consolidations for European groups. 
* Prepare all accounting for Ireland.
  * Monitor the integrity of the European financial reporting.
* Handle complex accounting: monitor UK to US GAAP differences, monitor transfer 
pricing arrangements, manage foreign currency translation, 
account for investments in affiliates and acquisitions, account for stock
  compensation, handle FAS 109 tax issues, and conduct inpairment analyses.
* Convert a recent acquisition from high-level to detail-level reporting to Corporate.
  * Lead world wide implementation of Oracle.
2. Internal Controls
  * Assist in the documentation, monitoring and evaluation of internal controls 
in the European operations.
3.  Tax
* Understanding the company's tax structure around the world.
* Ensure statutory compliance with each entity.
* Lead the set-up of new international organizational entities.
