The primarily responsible for the Director of Product Development is the strategic direction of the trust tax domain, including product strategies, expansion beyond the current identifiable market and identification of new opportunities. Current products include TrustEase and Tax Compliance Services.

 Responsible for determining growth strategy and customer segmentation.  Determines demand for products and services offered by the organization through market research and analyses. Leads FECS projects.

 Maintains high level of market knowledge.  Keeps abreast of emerging market trends and new developments and provides management with predictions of future market conditions.  Monitors competition and crafts appropriate recommendations and strategies.

 Establishes short term and long term strategic initiatives for defining/redefining products and services to increase profitability and market share.

 Assists with the acquisition, development, packaging and pricing of product offerings. Coordinates with CS&S business development and serves as liaison with trust sales and CS&S Marketing. 

Qualifications:

 Strong product development and market knowledge in the financial services arena with emphasis on the trust industry, brokerage firms,etc.with a minimum of 10 years prior experience in related roles.  Strong working knowledge of tax software solutions (tax compliance software and electronic tools). In-depth knowledge and skills involving integrated solutions.  Highly effective skills in problem-solving, project management, analytical and quantitative analysis. Superior communication skills as the position requires the gathering and disseminating of information to and from a vast array of resources, departments, customers, competitors, publications, the media etc.  Critical thinker with a strong understanding of acquisitions, business development and marketing principles and practices. Strong business and financial acumen. B.S or B.A.; M.B.A. or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as required.
