Director of Sales-Professional Consulting Services

Directors in Sales are responsible for identifying and building new relationships with major customers, technology partners, and influencers, initiating contact at the C level.  The Director identifies client needs and creates effective solutions based on Convergys? core products and services.  This position should also orchestrate the development of new products and services to address emerging market trends.  Convergys uses a strategic team sell approach and the Director is responsible for clearly communicating to the internal management team as well as building an effective internal team of subject matter experts leading to a successful sale.

 

We?re looking for someone who has a Bachelor?s degree and 7 to 10 years of experience selling outsourced services.  A candidate should also:

 
Have a proven, sustained track record of successful sales leadership, with experience closing deals that are complex and worth $10M plus. 
Have the ability to analyze data and translate it into professional sales presentations.
Experience in selling within the Financial Services industry.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels of client and Convergys management. 
Have the highest standards of ethical behavior and positive contribution to the community, consistent with the culture of Convergys. 
Be familiar with Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office software, especially PowerPoint.
