The Director of Technical Accounting position that has a variety of responsibilities in the Corporate Accounting function. The position will report to the Corporate Controller. He/she will also interact with the Manager of SEC Reporting, the Group V.P. of Corporate Finance and the CFO, among others, on various matters.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the lead person in charge of the purchase price accounting relating to mergers and acquisitions. In addition, provide technical guidance to the Business Development team in the initial stage of the transaction, when necessary.

Primary owner of equity-related matters, including FAS 123R, EPS, monitoring stock option plan activity, SOX processes, etc.

Ensure that all acquisition and equity related matters are properly disclosed in the SEC filings. In addition, provide assistance with other technical matters related to the SEC filings.

Research and analyze various complex technical accounting matters as they arise.

Special projects, reports or analyses as required by management related to accounting and reporting matters.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

* Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
* CPA with 8 years of Big 4 experience on large, complex accounts.
* Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting, including stock based compensation and acquisition accounting.
* Proven ability to research and analyze complex technical accounting matters.
* Strong communication, analytical, organizational, documentation and computer skills.
* Self-motivated; able to work in fast-paced and changing environment; deadline driven; able to work autonomously; strong work ethic.
